I'm building Playlab. Our software enables a global community to create, share, and remix educational AI applications. Today they create chat-based apps. In the near future, they'll build all kinds of educational software. Our hope is that an open approach that democratizes software creation can enable more people to shape education on their terms; encourage good ideas to spread; and more people to feel like they have agency to shape how AI shows up in their lives and work. In the past I've contributed to Scratch, researched creative tools for educators, and helped found ALU & alx.
Outside of work, I coach startups through MIT's Sandbox Fund, angel invest, and am a proud girl dad.
